Choose A Priority Feeling

In Resonance Healing®, we work with a Map that supports emotional healing, guidance, empowerment, and greater alignment with life.

When emotions are the True Priority, we may work with:
• discerning a feeling that is present and sensing where it lives in the body
• finding a Resonant tool to receive the intelligence or gift within the emotion and support movement or healing
• clearing emotions that are not truly ours
• installing positive emotions or qualities we would like to experience in a relationship, opportunity, transition, or after healing a challenge or trauma

Another empowering way to engage with life is consciously choosing a resonant emotional quality to be with throughout the day.

A simple question:
How do I want to feel today?
Or for a particular relationship, activity, conversation, or event?

For the past seven years, I’ve been practicing consciously choosing a “Priority” feeling or quality and observing what unfolds.

Some of my personal go-to choices include:
Peace • Love • Grace • Enthusiasm • Fulfillment • Appreciation

Generally, I ask:
“What is the Priority emotion or quality to feel for my Deepest and Highest Good—for this relationship, activity, time, or place?”

Sometimes the answer arrives immediately, other times it  reveals itself in a few meditative minutes.

Recently, before several cross-country flights, the quality I received was:
Kindness.

At first, I assumed this would simply make me more attentive to opportunities to help others. Instead, the experience seemed to organize itself around me.

People (including an elder woman) spontaneously helped lift my luggage overhead.
There were more smiles, warmth, ease, and meaningful interactions.
Even during turbulence, I felt a greater sense of calm.

Another time, I chose Kindness before attending a favorite high-energy dance class within an already warm and welcoming community. I noticed greater ease in my movement and a deeper sense of relaxation and play with some of the more challenging sequences. As someone trained to observe, follow, pause, and shift with flow, I was fascinated by how resonating kindness subtly influences and delightfully flavors everyday experiences.

This simple yet profound practice continues to show me how resonance can influence not only how we feel internally, but how we creatively experience and interact with life.

Below are two small “Kindness walk” moments I videoed in 2019 at Arlington Park in Sarasota—something I wanted to remember because of the unexpected beauty and synchronicity of the experience.

If you feel called to explore emotional healing, embodied guidance, resonance, or conscious alignment more deeply, I’d love to connect.

I offer Resonance Healing® sessions, workshops, and collaborative experiences for individuals, retreats, organizations, and communities.
